BASIC DATA ON THE BASE VEHICLE
the base vehicle for the upgrade was a Peugeot Boxer L2H2, wheelbase 3,450 mm, category N1.
It was a classic cargo vehicle with a total weight of 3500 kg with a spacious 10.5m³ cargo space in the back.
It is decorated with a diesel 2.2 engine with 121 kW of power and a 6-speed manual gearbox.
The client wanted to convert the vehicle into a passenger vehicle, and this story started with his request.
UPGRADING INTO A PASSENGER VEHICLE
We started the upgrade of the cargo vehicle by installing side and roof coverings with thermal and sound insulation.
The next stage of the upgrade was the installation of an anti-slip floor with a gray coating.
This is followed by template cutting of the side walls and rear doors and the installation of glass on all three sides.
On the previously installed floor, 6 individual seats (with armrests and seat belts) are then installed in a 3 + 3 layout.
Finally, in order for the vehicle to be cooled in the summer and heated in the winter – it was necessary to install an additional evaporator and additional air heater for the passenger compartment.
Upon completion of the upgrade, the vehicle was inspected and certified by the Croatian Vehicle Center.
