Cargo box on a 100% electric vehicle

The robust 8.5-ton Mitsubishi Fuso eCanter, with a wheelbase of 4,750 mm, is a fully electric vehicle.
Equipped with an L battery pack consisting of 3 modules, this vehicle offers a range of up to 200 km.
The chassis with a single cab, which served as the base for this upgrade, boasts an impressive payload capacity of nearly 4.5 tons.
Along with rich standard equipment, the vehicle comes with a 3-year or 100,000 km warranty, and the battery is covered for up to 7 years or 160,000 km.

This 100% electric vehicle has been fitted with a high-quality enclosed cargo box made of plywood panels.
The panels are 17 mm thick and painted in RAL 9016 (white), with an internal lashing rail at 1 meter height for securing cargo.
A pallet impact guard has also been installed.
On the roof, a transparent polyester panel with cross beams has been mounted, along with two LED motion-sensor lights.
A sturdy, waterproof 21 mm thick plywood floor is set on a steel subframe with crossbars.

The rear frame is made of stainless steel and painted white, with a spring-loaded flap that “closes” the ramp.
The ramp has a load capacity of 1,500 kg and features an aluminum platform 1,800 mm in height and as wide as the body.
As with any professional setup, it includes foot controls, trolley stoppers, warning flags, and other equipment.
Finally, a roof spoiler with an adjustable height of 500–900 mm has been mounted to the cab to reduce air resistance.
