We are proud to present the first installation of BraunAbility’s Turny Evo system in the Republic of Croatia. This upgrade was made under our MultiMobility program – a mobility center for people with disabilities, on a base vehicle Mercedes-Benz E-Class.
BraunAbility Turny Evo is currently the most advanced electric seat lift on the market. It makes extremely easy access to the vehicle for all people with disabilities, especially those in wheelchairs.
The system installs on the stand of the original factory seat and is controlled via a joystick or smartphone application.
Turny Evo can move the seat outside the vehicle and to a height that suits each individual user. It allows you to adjust the tilt and move the seat forwards or backwards using the same steering controls.
For added driving comfort, the Turny Evo comes with a built-in footrest and can be used with the Carony system, eliminating the need to lift a person out of the wheelchair. As a user you simply stay seated while the entire seat slides from wheelchair into the car. It’s as safe and comfortable as a standard car seat and it’s as versatile and easy to use as a transport wheelchair.
This unique system can be installed on the driver’s and front passenger’s seats, and on the second or third row of seats.
It doesn’t require permanent modification of the vehicle, keeping your vehicle’s value in case you decide to sell it one day. Likewise, the system can be easily moved from one vehicle to another.
The Turny Evo is compatible with the BEV Seat, the BIS Seat, the Compact Seat, the Recaro Seat as well as our children’s seats the BEV Kids and the highly adaptive GS Seat. To ensure you enjoy the same safety as anyone else inside the car all of these seats have been successfully crash-tested.
Since it relies on power from the car itself, there’s a manual backup system, in the event of a complete power failure in your car.
